Harm Reduction Program offered by Cowlitz Family Health Center at Grade Street Campus
The Cowlitz Family Health Center Harm Reduction Program includes multiple wrap-around services to support the population that accesses the syringe exchange service including: - 1:1 exchange of clean syringe equipment for used syringe equipment - Health education - Hepatitis C and HIV screening and referral for care - Family Planning, including birth control counseling, contraception (Depo Provera), emergency contraception, and pregnancy testing - Naloxone for overdose prevention - Wound care - Assistance in enrolling in Medicaid for qualified individuals - Referral for primary care, dental care, substance use disorder treatment, medication assisted treatment and community services
