The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs. The course is designed to enhance responsible decision-making with regards to alcohol and other drug use. Students are encouraged to explore the effects of alcohol and other drug use on themselves, their families and their world.  DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.  Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (transportation and parenting skills development). Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.  Intensive Outpatient Treatment  Provides outpatient SUD services that usually require 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (transportation and parenting skills development).  Agency provides BH-ASO-certified service(s).

Drug/Alcohol Assessments Conducts an evaluation of people who abuse drugs and/or alcohol to determine the nature and extent of the problem and which may make a recommendation regarding treatment or may refer the individual to a specific program. By coming together in one place, many different community service agencies are better able to collaborate. Assessment - a comprehensive, face-to-face diagnostic interview to identify areas of concern as described by the individual. We collect a social, behavioral, and mental health history, document the student's history of involvement with alcohol and other drugs, as well as any other health concerns. Assessment starts the development of an individualized service plan. Intervention - a formal response to behavioral health risks intended to increase understanding of chemical dependency and to identify and reduce risk factors associated with developing substance use disorder. Treatment - Outpatient services are are guided by an individualized, formal treatment plan and vary in intensity and duration. Services include individual, group, and/or family counseling. Continuing Care - Provides ongoing support, reinforcement, and case management for individuals who are attempting to maintain a recovery lifestyle and are at risk for relapse or other behavioral problems. Several locations offer mental health services in addition to substance use disorder services.   

Outpatient treatment is delivered in a group setting with individual counseling sessions.  Groups offered include those for substance use disorder, mental health disorder, co-occurring disorders and problem gambling disorder. Also has a specialty group for patients who have anxiety and/or depression. The group people participate in has specific treatment goals and meets on a regular schedule, and can take place during the day or evening.   The outpatient program is designed to provide additional support for those who have completed a specific phase of treatment or who need additional skills with relapse prevention.  Can also provide brief screening and intervention.   Utilizes Biopsychosocial assessments that determine the level of impairment caused from substance use disorder.  Findings are used to develop an individualized plan.  

Provides emergency drop-in support services for Native clients.   Services include the following:   - Advocacy/case management - Emergency clothing - Nursing services - Assessment and referral to drug and alcohol treatment - Cultural programming - Applications and questions regarding DSHS benefits, as well as BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) benefits. - Re-entry assistance to help reduce barriers for those who have been formerly incarcerated Also provides a place for clients to socialize, watch television, and participate in Native cultural activities. Offers Native arts and craft sessions weekly. Operates as a cooling center during weather advisories.

Offers assessments for substance use disorders and outpatient substance use treatment services.

Provides substance use disorder services for teens and adults, including DUI assessments and outpatient treatment. Provides individual, group and family counseling as part of treatment. Coordinates adolescent-only groups and adult co-occurring disorders groups. Additionally offers co-occurring intensive inpatient/outpatient and weekly aftercare. Offers morning, day, and evening programs as well as on-site drug testing. Also offers relapse prevention groups and interventions. Recently expanded services to now offer alcohol drug information school, and victim impact panel.

Provides mental health evaluations and outpatient mental health services for individuals, couples, groups, children/youth, and families. Counseling topics include anxiety/fears/phobias, depression/mood disorders, bipolar disorder, sexual/physical/domestic violence and abuse, sexual issues, ADD/ADHD, autism, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anger management, parenting issues, divorce issues, eating disorders, gender issues, grief, postpartum depression, PTSD, chronic pain and other health issues, crisis intervention, religious issues and Christian counseling, sensitivity/conflict, and stress management. Offers psychiatric medication evaluation and management services. Chemical dependency and gambling assessment and counseling are also available.

Includes assessments, DUI evaluations, co-occurring disorders treatment, prevention/education, and outpatient counseling. Pasco and Walla Walla Offices offer the Youth and Family Tree Program, which provides treatment to youth aged between 12-25 years old who are using substances. Uses evidence -based practices to provide treatment and case management to youth and their families. Provides evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment and support for anyone who has trouble with alcohol or drug use. Offers various groups for outpatient treatment services. These include: - Intensive outpatient treatment groups that meet for three hours, three times per week - Weekly outpatient treatment groups that meet weekly for an hour and a half - A variety of other groups that meet weekly for an hour. Can assist with - DUI/Reckless Driving infractions - DOC Intakes/Evaluations - Family Court – Custody Evaluations - Employee Assistant Program referrals - CPS and Family Court assessments and evaluations Pregnant and Parenting Program Provides specialized recovery services to those who are pregnant or parenting. Individual and group counseling and at-home strategies involve both parents whenever possible with the goals of reducing use and improving parenting and relationship skills. Established clients are able to use agency's primary care clinic services to better integrate care. Additionally offers a Women's Wellness Program that focuses on treating the unique needs of women in recovery. Program provides: - Individual Counseling Sessions - Access to a Public Health Nurse - Prenatal Groups - Recovery Skills Groups - Family Support Groups
